Your breakout cleared but has left you with red marks....

So your breakout has cleared but now you have lots of little red marks. Here's what's going on and what you can do to fix it.

If you have ever experienced a bad breakout or a bout of breakouts then chances are you may have been left with red marks on your skin.

The good news is, whilst these marks are in their early stages, there's actually a good chance of getting rid of them. Where these marks differ from long term acne scars is that there is no textural difference or indentations.

These red marks are post inflammatory erythema and are visible because there is inflammation present in the skin tissue. In order to get rid of these marks before they become pigmented brown marks (which are harder to treat)  you need to reduce the inflammation and strengthen your skin barrier.

There are lots of great skincare ingredients that can help with this, such as ~ Retinyl Palmitate, Vitamins C and E, Aloe Vera, Allantoin, Glycerin, gentle AHA's, Hyaluronic Acid to name just a few.

We would recommend a regime of the following ~ Problematic Skin Lotion and Problematic Skin Gel (to reduce tissue inflammation) ~ The Specialist Serum (to accelerate skin healing) ~ Hyaluronic Active Cream (to repair and strengthen the skin barrier)

We are delighted that our preparations have helped so many of our customers through the process of skin healing following acne.  If you would like personalised advice, it will be our pleasure to advise you so please do get in touch.
